Greetings,

Our thanks to Marissa Muccio. PT, for providing us with: a comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiology of idiopathic scoliosis, knowledge of the potentially profound benefits of physical therapy and the critical importance of early identification and intervention in managing idiopathic scoliosis. Marissa Muccio emphasized the incredibly important role of the school nurse in preventing serious complications resulting from missed opportunities for treatment. It's always a pleasure hearing praise for school nurses from extremely knowledgeable health professionals. We are also grateful to Teena Merritt for taking our group photo. It was great getting together, and we thank our Co-President, Laura Sacks, MA, BSN, BA, RN, CSN  for making arrangements for the West Orange Library meeting room, which was a perfect venue.  We hope to plan more in-person meetings in the future.
