Wednesday, April 16th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, "Management of Infectious Disease in Schools: Viral Infections (focusing on the most common viral infectious diseases seen this season)", Presented by Dr. Anamaria Valencia-Cadavid MD, MPH, Program Manager for Disease, Prevention and Control, Public Health Nursing - Health Educator, Township of Bloomfield Department of Health.

Wednesday, May 21st from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, End-of-Year Celebration Dinner, Forte Pizzeria & Ristorante, 182 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell. We will send menu choices as we get closer to the event. NJEA members received an email invitation on April 3rd. This program is exclusively for NJEA members. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 – from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m, - The Role of the School Nurse in School Safety and Security, presented by Dr. Thomas Gambino, Ed.D, Office of School Preparedness & Emergency Planning, NJDOE. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm - "Know Your Rights: Focus on Immigration" presented by the New Jersey State Bar Association. - "Everyone, regardless of their immigration status, has basic rights under the state and federal constitutions. Join us for a free, virtual seminar where community members can learn more here about what your rights are, how to exercise them, and what to do when your rights are violated. This seminar will specifically cover interacting with ICE, obligations of employers, and other updates related to immigration law under the current administration. Speakers are members of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section. Free to attend. All are welcome."

PD certificates will be awarded to paid ECSNA members as a benefit of membership, but all school nurses are welcome to attend our programs.
