EXCITING NEWS about progress toward updating legislation to allow for stock Neffy!

Posted 14 days ago

Our thanks to Sheila Caldwell, BSN, RN, CSN-NJ, FNASN for her prescience and leadership in contacting the New Jersey Law Revision Commission last summer to provide important testimony regarding the need for legislative updates to include additional routes of administration for epinephrine based on scientific advances.  Once approved by the legislature, these updates will make it possible for New Jersey school nurses to participate in the neffyinSchools, a program designed to provide free neffy to schools throughout the United States. From Sheila Caldwell's post on School Nurses-New Jersey Facebook page:

"DRAFT FINAL REPORT UPDATE

The presentation of the Draft Final Report will be given at the Thursday, May 22nd NJLRC meeting at 4:30pm via Zoom. It is expected that it will be sent to the legislature for further action and hopefully moved on before the end of the legislative session this year (June 30th ends this session).
