Key Points or Updates:
- May is Tickborne Disease Awareness Month and New Jersey is among the leading states in the nation for tickborne disease incidence. NJDOH continues to coordinate many tickborne disease activities including education, surveillance, and workforce development.
- The updated Tickborne Disease Basics 2025 educational webinar is now available via a recorded webinar to public health professionals to increase knowledge and provide updated resources for professionals to educate their communities on tickborne diseases and tick bite prevention.
- 1 PH CE credit is offered upon completion of viewing the webinar along with toolkit materials (credit available through 9/30/25). Once you receive materials, you may tailor the slides and choose what to present to your community. You may change which topics are covered based on your various audiences.
