Our ECSNA President & Public Relations Events Coordinator, Dr. Denise M. Makri-Werzen, PUBH:CH HP RN/MT(ASCP) CSN/HT Ph.D. MS BS, was honored by Fairleigh Dickenson University

Fairleigh Dickinson University honored Dr. Makri-Werzen in their FDU magazine class-notes section which included the following:

  • The School Nurse Day recognition of Dr. Makri-Werzen on May 7, 2025,  by the National Association of School Nurses on their website.

  • Dr. Makri-Werzen's many years of service and dedication to the West Orange (N.J.) School District.

  • Earning her doctorate from Walden University in 2022.

  • Recognizing that Dr. Makri-Werzen is our ECSNA President and Event Coordinator as well as Union Representative for the West Orange Education Association and the Essex County Education Association.

We are very lucky to have such a talented Executive Board. Please consider joining us this year to benefit from their years of experience and expertise.
